Mrs. Jezima Ismail the President of the Academy of Adult Education donated 15 perches land to the President of Sri Lanka Muslim women’s Conference Mrs. Ameena Musthapha to put up a Head Quarters for this Association.

Mrs. Ameena Musthapha who believed the importance and need to encourage women of all communities appealed to the Islamic Development Bank of Jeddah to fund the construction of a two storeyed building for Vocational Training and Counselling.

The Vocational Training Centre was declared opened under the patronage of
Deshabandu Jezima Ismail, Emeritus President, on the 15^th of August 2016.
